Trish Trivinia, M.Ed., LPC, is a Counseling Psychologist who specializes in Trauma, Chronic Illness, Anxiety, Grief & Loss, Sports Psychology and Mindfulness Meditation. She is certified in EMDR, DBT, Progressive Relaxation and Visualization. In addition, she completed a 60-hour practicum in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) for teaching professionals from Thomas Jefferson University.
Trish has worked in a variety of clinical settings such as The Renfrew Center, Gift of Life, and Fox Chase Cancer Center. She has also worked in schools as both a counselor and member of Child Study teams. For the last 3 years, she worked for The Urban Promise Wellness Center in Camden, NJ. While at Urban, she served as a counselor and program organizer of Urban’s Mindfulness program. The program served over 600 K-12 students and employees in Urban’s school and after school program.
Additionally, she has worked with high school and D1 athletes teaching Mindfulness, Progressive Relaxation, Visualization and Stress Reduction techniques to swimmers, lacrosse, tennis, and crew teams.
She has practiced Mindfulness for 24 years and Visualization techniques for over 40 years, experiencing their benefits firsthand.
Trish currently resides in Moorestown, NJ with her husband Charlie and daughter Sam, who followed in her mother’s footsteps as a Clemson University athlete on the rowing team.
